Today I have for you a sort of random match. The only thing I was looking for was a Mexican wrestler facing a Japanese one. And I found an od one.
In one of the many Mil Mascaras' tour in Japan he had as a rival one luchador that was starting to gain good reputation in lucha libre, Último Dragón.
When I first found about this match, the main thing that came to mind was how uneven it was going to be. On one side Mil Mascaras, that despite being approximately 50 years old when this fight took place, he had a decent and bigger physique than his opponent. On the other side Último Dragón had to his advantage being younger and faster than the Mexican.
And my forecast wasn't wrong, Último Dragón fell on Mil Mascaras' game and he was taught a class on old school wrestling. Anyway, I leave you with the match, from Japanese promotion Wrestling Association R, in some point between 1992 and 2000, Mil Mascaras against Último Dragón.
