After a two year abscense last Friday, CMLL held a new edition of their homage competition for Blue Demon, La Leyenda Azul Tournament.
At first I had in mind just to share with you the final of said joust, but as I was doing the research I found that La Leyenda Azul takes place in just one night, unlike La Leyenda de Plata (a similar event to honor El Santo) that is held throughout three shows.
Jesus! What's the hurry? It's not like that they have prepared something better for the next two Fridays in the Arena México... or do they? Actually I don't know (I like to ask me and answer those questions).
Anyway, as a commentary, after watching the 2012 version of this competition, definitely it would be far interesting if this just was held in more than one night. It kind sucked that the 2012 final lasted less than ten minutes, I never knew that the WWE divsa were wrestling in México.
To end this and it might sound a bit exaggerated, but CMLL doesn't look good by not giving the same amount of time and space to tournaments dedicated to Blue Demon and El Santo, just saying.
I leave you with the WHOLE 2012 Leyenda Azul Tournament, enjoy! I'll see you next week.
